Viaplay service now available on Prime Video in the U.S.
Nordic streaming service Viaplay has joined Prime Video Channels in the U.S. as an add-on subscription. Viaplay recently closed its direct-to-consumer streaming service in the U.S. and Canada.
14th season the final ride for Vera
ITV has announced that popular crime drama Vera will come to an end with its upcoming 14th season. It will consist of two episodes, each spanning two hours. Production is scheduled to begin this summer. The series is based on Ann Cleeves’ series of Vera Stanhope novels.
BBC acquires Swedish crime dramas
BBC has acquired two Swedish crime dramas for iPlayer based on bestselling novels. End of Summer is a six-part psychological thriller about a woman who is trying to find the truth behind her brother's disappearance. Jana – Marked for Life is about a prosecutor and former child soldier.
