BBC announces new crime drama, The Hairdresser Mysteries
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the six-episode show will feature Sally Phillips as Lily Petal, a hairdresser who “gets entangled in a web of secrets after buying a small village salon.” Filming is scheduled to begin in late September on the program, which is billed as a “nostalgic nod to the 1970s.”

Yahoo News reports that Cleddau/The One That Got Away will be back for a second season in 2026. The series is filmed in both Welsh and English. The Case, created and written by the author of Lupin and The Long Shadow, is about a highly regarded Stockholm police investigator dealing with a serial killer. He turns to a once well-regarded but now out of favor ex-detective for help — his estranged father. Production recently wrapped in Stockholm.
