BBC launches new version of Rebus
Based on the best-selling Inspector Rebus novels by Ian Rankin, the new Scottish crime series based in Edinburgh debuts May 17 on BBC Scotland and on BBC One the following day. Richard Rankin is cast as the title character.
14th season the final ride for Vera
ITV has announced that popular crime drama Vera will come to an end with its upcoming 14th season. It will consist of two episodes, each spanning two hours. Production is scheduled to begin this summer. The series is based on Ann Cleeves’ series of Vera Stanhope novels.
The Twelve Season 2 debuts in May on UK’s Channel 4
In the second season of Belgian courtroom drama The Twelve, jurors must determine the fate of a young woman accused of killing her step-mother. The first two episodes will launch on May 10.
