Danish drama debuts on Channel 4 in UK
Danish crime drama The Pushover is now available on Channel 4’s Walter Presents in the UK. The series centers on Copenhagen journalist Nora Sand (played by Marie Sandø Jondal), who joins with a North Zealand police inspector to investigate when a notorious con artist is implicated in a murder.
Filming begins on Series 2 of Irish language crime drama Cra
BBC and TG4 announced the production of the second series, following the international success of the first Irish Language crime drama to air on BBC One Northern Ireland, BBC iPlayer and BBC Four. Dónall Ó Héalaí and Hannah Brady reprise their leading roles. Series 2 filming is taking place in Gaoth Dobhair, County Donegal.
Classic crime drama will look very different when it returns later this year
Classic British crime drama Dalziel and Pascoe will return to UK televisions later this year, but with a new look. Based on Reginald Hill’s novels, the updated drama will feature females in the title roles. Kerry Godliman will play veteran officer Dalziel and Nina Singh stars as her junior partner, Pascoe. Production begins in a few months.
